What Hostfully reports, and what it cannot see
Hostfully knows every reservation, what the guest paid and what the platform paid out, because all of it passes through Hostfully. It does not know the mortgage, the cleaner you pay by bank transfer, the utility bill or the supplies run, because none of those touch it. So the numbers it can show you stop at revenue.
MagicBNB reads your Hostfully data and your bank side by side. Payouts are matched to the deposits that cleared, costs are assigned to properties, and you see profit per property instead of revenue per listing.

No. Hostfully keeps running your bookings, calendar and guest messages. MagicBNB reads your Hostfully data alongside your bank and reports profit.
How does MagicBNB connect to Hostfully?
You create an API key in Hostfully and paste it into MagicBNB. MagicBNB never sees your Hostfully password.
Why is my Hostfully revenue different from my profit?
Hostfully sees the money that passes through it: what the guest paid, the platform fee and the payout. Your profit also depends on costs paid from your bank, such as the mortgage, utilities, cleaning and repairs. MagicBNB adds those per property.
Which other tools does it work with?
Hospitable for reservations and Plaid for banks. Bookings from Airbnb, Vrbo and direct channels come through your PMS.
Is my bank data safe?
Bank accounts connect through Plaid. MagicBNB gets read-only access to transactions and balances, cannot move money, and never sees or stores your bank password.
